For the past two decades, I've realised that most people's biggest regret was not taking action sooner. And I figured out it was because the 'whole of them' - which includes their nervous system, not just their thinking mind - hadn't yet bought in.
And that's where my favourite Italian word comes in:
Basta!

Basta! is Italian for 'enough!'
You'll also find it in Spanish and German - and I'm on a mission to bring it into English, too.
The brilliant thing about basta! is it means there's no more need for rock bottom.
Basta! Enough! is a decision.
It tells your unconscious mind, your nervous system, and your thinking brain that this. stops. here.
You might not know what's next yet. And that's ok. But basta! means we've made the choice to change.
And when we do that, the 'how to' often appears.
Without basta! change is just one option, along with things staying the same. Basta! closes the door to the out-of-date and shifts your focus onto what you want, instead.
Your basta-moment is a way of saying a yes - even if it's just a whisper - to the version of you that you secretly want to become.
