You can pay via a secure credit card portal (Stripe - gives you a VAT receipt) or via invoice.

Yes, you can pay by invoice. And details of how to arrange that will be emailed to you, once you've reserved your slot.

We'll provisionally hold your chosen date and time for two weeks, to give you time to send us the details we need to invoice you, including a purchase order, if needed.

Payment terms are 30 days from when we invoice you. If the invoice hasn't been paid by then, your date is released to the public.

These sessions are in high demand and we are unable to hold them for a company without payment.

Most teams we work with find it easier to use this year’s budget and have the session already secured. That way you don’t risk the IWD funds being re-absorbed in January reforecasting.

We can hold the date for seven days while you check with Finance. It usually just needs a cost-centre approval.

No. To help us offer this incredible IWD-only rate, all payments are in advance. It's not a large amount, so to keep our admin time sensible we don't offer 50:50 pre / post event splits, either.

The admin costs of chasing payments after a client has enjoyed an event they loved are simply too high.

All prices listed are ex-VAT.

UK VAT applies, unless you're booking as a company that is based overseas. This is counted as a B2B transaction and the relevant VAT rules would apply.

Yes, you'll get a VAT invoice.

It's very common for clients to have upwards of 100 attendees for this kind of fireside chat with Clare Josa.

She has run them for anything from 20 to 2,000, though with more attendees, you'll need someone managing the questions who is comfortable with that volume in the Teams / Zoom chat.

It's helpful for Clare to know in advance approximately how many attendees there will be, because she can adapt her delivery style to suit your teams.

Events are available on weekdays at 11am and 2pm from 2nd to 18th March 2026, on weekdays online. Those times are UK time. (Time zone converter).

Evenings and weekends are not available for this event.

If you want to book a fireside chat outside of that period, the regular £5,000 fee would apply.

Absolutely. But the special IWD-only rate is only for IWD2026. Any fireside chat after that window would be subject to the usual fee of £5,000. You can find out more here.

You'll have a link in your confirmation email that allows you to change your event time and date, subject to availability. But all dates are locked one month ahead of IWD2026.

And once the slots are full, Clare will have been turning companies away. So these slots are not refundable, outside of Clare's usual terms and conditions.

If no other IWD2026 dates are available, your fee can be used as credit towards a future, full-price event.

So it is best if you book a time and date that you know will work for your teams.

You can host it on your company's Teams or Zoom account, or for a nominal £100 fee you can use Clare Josa's Zoom.

If you use a system other than Teams or Zoom, Clare may need to do a tech check with you ahead of the event, to ensure your IT systems will allow her to use her 'virtual camera' (green screen with slides behind her) and her professional recording studio microphone.

We run these sessions exclusively for ED&I networks, at special rates that aren’t normally available. To make that possible, we focus delivery into three blocks each year. One is around International Women’s Day in March and then, subject to Clare's diary, there might be a block in late June and one in late October. The rest of the year, we only offer bespoke work.

Each Fireside Chat is a 60-minute live online session: 30 minutes of research-backed insight and practical strategies, followed by 30 minutes of interview-style Q&A.

There are three topics to choose from - each based on one of Clare's books, and all of them will be aligned with the United Nations' IWD2026 theme, when it's published.

To keep these events at the special IWD2026 pricing, there's no customisation or co-branding for the main talk or the workbook.

But the Q&A section is totally customised - it's led by your team members and the questions that matter most to them.

In this way, it can be even better than a keynote for having impact and inspiring action.

You're welcome to collect questions in advance, and it can help to do this, especially if your team members are used to being more 'passive' at online events.

But Clare will monitor the chat, and it helps to have one of your team doing the same. 

A member of your team - ideally the person who introduces Clare at the start and then 'wraps up' at the end - can then ask Clare the questions, interview-style.

If you have a question come up that's appropriate and from a person who would like to come on video to ask Clare direct, that can be amazing.

Clare has over two decades of experience of being asked every question you could imagine. So she's a pro at how to handle the curve balls.

That said, if a question is inappropriate, she'll ignore it from the chat. And if a member of your team accidentally asks one like that, she'll be calm and polite and let you know she can't answer it.

Common reasons she'll not answer a particular question:

• It's way off topic - this can happen when it's someone's 'bug-bear' or they want to get into generic personal development / business strategies
• It's too personal - sometimes people feel huge relief in one of Clare's sessions and it can make them share things that afterwards they might not have wanted to discuss. Clare helps to prevent this by explaining that she'll need to give a more generic answer, because she can't do 1:1 mentoring on a live, recorded group call.
• It names someone else - Clare won't answer questions that talk about someone who might be personally identifiable to the wider group - no matter how much of a toxic boss they might be...

And what does she do when that happens? Usually something like:

"That's an important question, but it's outside the scope of this session / not appropriate for me to answer in public. But if we look at a topic close to that question, here's how I'd respond."

In advance of the session, Clare's team will need the Teams or Zoom link that you want Clare to use.

It really helps to know what your IWD2026 theme is, if Clare's fireside chat is part of a wider mutli-speaker event. And it's useful to know the approximate number of attendees.

It's great if you can send out the workbook for the session a week or so ahead, but Clare will remind people of the link at the start.

No. Clare’s slides aren’t shared after the session. They’re designed to help people have insights and lightbulb moments during the live event, not to stand alone. They won’t contain much text (this isn’t death-by-PowerPoint), and the content remains Clare’s copyright.

Instead, your attendees receive a digital workbook with the key models and visuals from the talk, so they can make notes, revisit what matters most, and put it into action.

You'll get the key models and visuals from Clare's talk, with gaps for people to annotate them, to help with engagement and different learning styles.

The post-event resources are at the back, and there's space to capture notes from the Q&A.

They're branded with Clare's branding, and for this IWD2026 series of events, it's not possible to co-brand them for your organisation.

No. Please invite men, too! Did you know they experience Imposter Syndrome and confidence issues at similar rates to women, but they handle it differently.

Also, if women are raising discussions about the barriers they face and the changes they need to see, you'll need all of your colleagues in those room, not just the women.

They will be shipped to you in boxes to one location.

To keep costs down, the books are shipped direct from the printer, so Clare can't sign them.

This is, however, something she and audience members really enjoy, at in-person keynote events.

This would become a bit of a nightmare, GDPR-wise. Also we've found that international shipping of individual books, post-Brexit, can be a logistical headache, no matter how good the customs labels are.

So books are shipped to one of your company addresses, for you to have collected in person or sent out via internal mail.

International shipments of books (non-UK) are handled via our print-on-demand service from Amazon.
