If you need local accommodation, two easy options are Ashdown Park Hotel (if you'd like a little luxury) or The Roebuck Inn, if you're on a budget. Air BnB also offers plenty of options in the nearby villages of Colemans Hatch, Forest Row and Hartfield.
The nearest train station is East Grinstead (10 minutes) and the nearest airport is Gatwick (about 30 minutes - pre-booking with RoadRunners is usually the cheapest option for Gatwick transfers).
What To Bring With You:
The yurt is in a field, about 70m from the parking area. So please leave your Manolos at home! Top tip: check for holes in your socks, if such things embarrass you... The teaching yurt is a shoe-free space. Just wanted to let you know. :-)
You'll want to bring:
- A notepad and pen
- A yoga mat, if you have one (let me know if not and you can borrow one)
- A blanket or a shawl for the deep relaxation
- If you're travelling by car, please bring a cushion to sit on. Otherwise I have a few spares.
Lunch and refreshments are provided. You can let me know about any dietary requirements via the workbook, below.
